My name is Thea and I'm a fibre artist, who specializes in needle felting and wet felting. Creating is my passion. I also am an Early Childhood Educator; therefore, I have a background with children and toys! I started creating needle felted toys to use with my students and daycare children and quickly turned my hobby into a business! I'm featured on Snow Happy, The Makers Directory and Wild Rose Island.

Coastal Felting offers needle felted dolls, animals, mobiles and garlands as well as wet felted playmats, felted magnets, dryer balls, felted soap bars and more. Coastal Felting is a Canadian small business located on Vancouver Island, in British Columbia. I am always busy creating handmade felted magic with Canadian and New Zealand sourced wool and a lot of love! We use various types of sheeps wool and silks including Merino, Perendale, Dorest, Angelina, Corriedale, Shetland and Maori and various varieties of curly locks such as Gotland, Wesleydale and BFL. I ship anywhere in Canada, to the USA, as well as internationally. I do use recycled materials when possible for shipping packages, to help reduce waste, a lot of good packaging materials and boxes go into the recycling when they could get another use.
